You're right...
...it does look like it's made from cake. But it's not - the head is Super Sculpey, a slightly waxy clay, and is not painted or coloured in any way; the eyes were pinched from another project; the eyebrows were made from string teased apart into wiggly threads; and the body is bog-standard plasticine. The telescope is just made from bits of cardboard, wood and more clay, with a clear plastic bubble pretending to be a lens.

I don't know what your plasticine efforts are like, because when I tried searching instead I found your YouTube video 'Bubblicious' and all I can say is - BLOODY FANTASTIC!

I'm a massive (in every sense - I'm a big fat bastard) fan of stop-motion animation, and that video is the DBs - imaginative and beautifully executed. I shall now check out your other stuff...
