He-Man In His Twilight YearsI made this!
Righto, so a few years back (I think), I posted up a couple of cartoons that I'd written with a friend and given to Lee Healey (him off of Viz's fantastic Drunken Bakers) to draw. He took his bloody time, I can tell you. Asked him for 3 cartoons, it took him 4 years to finish. This final part of the trilogy means it's been worth the wait. That's all I can say. Those who came to the London Bash at the weekend will have seen it already. Clicking "I made this" because I wrote it all by myself. *prouds*
haha!
Excellent! Where can I see the others? I hope they ate cringers leg.

Where's the others?
I recognised his style instantly. That unique combo of amusement and glumness. Hilaribleak.

Alright, alright.
They were on B3tards *grr* but Lee Healey has them both on the same tab of his image gallery. Click on the pic which has Thomas The Tank Engine's horrified face on it. www.cartoonist4hire.co.uk/comic-strips/

Have loved all these he's done for you. I think Paddington was my fave

Yep, Paddington was the first one.
Bonus points for the cameo by the Drunken Bakers in the final frame. Love the "Jean Charles De Menezes" angle that we went with on that one. Full props to my mate who came up with the idea that time.

Wow
It all ends in bankruptcy and arson. Much more realistic than the original.

His cartoons in Viz (stories are by a guy called Barney Farmer)...
...always make you think that shit can't get any worse, and then the last frame usually proves you wrong. I absolutely love the Bakers.

Haha. Have I missed other 'quite' funny things by avoiding Keith Lemon?
