It looks kind of like a running spider.
A robotic, runnung spider that can run faster than everything and makes a scurrying sound whilst doing it. It needs to die.

One sounds like a Frenchie.
But I've heard Happy Jack lived in the sands of the Isle of Man. He suffered terrible trauma at the hands of the local children.

Not the ordinary kind of stairs?
That thing isn't even going to make it up a kerb, never mind a staircase. It's got no knees.

Apologies, people.
Forgot where I was for a second.
That is actually based on a drunken 'Doctor Who' based rant of a friend of mine, which obviously means nothing to you, and has painted me as a bit of a twonk.
P.S. However, If anyone you meet does express an opinion on the design of Daleks and why they can suddenly* fly, feel free to shout 'BECAUSE OF FUCKING STAIRS!' at them. It certainly gets the point across.
*since Two Thousand and sixish? not that sudden then.

Actually there was a hovering one in Revelation of the Daleks a whole 3 years earlier...
But it was such a shit effect that nobody really noticed.
They tidied it up for the DVD release.
