This is a question Image Challenge suggestions

We think a good challenge idea is like the opening line of a joke, say "If ads told the truth... Guinness would say 'It makes you fat, and your shit turn black.'"

Maybe you have other ideas.

We're going to leave this thread open, so feel free to add ideas at any time. BTW: Please use the "i like this" button. Your voting really helps the good ideas bubble-up, and the very best will be used in the Image Challenge itself.

Revamp b3ta.
B3ta is old and it fucking shows. There's no arguing it, it looks really dated and this is probably a contributing factor in the signups dropping to nothing. How would you redesign the site to make it not look like it was designed by a blind tasteless useless fucking cunt?

Rude TV
The 60s and 70s were a time of sexual liberation and drug experimentation - we think it should have been reflected in the TV shows of the day. Show us some sexed-up drug-fueled action in "I Dream of Jeanie", "Happy Days", "Mission Impossible", "Steptoe and Son" "Citizen Smith"...

Ruin old films with modern technology.
Would Brief Encounter be so sad if they had access to Facebook?
Would Planet of The Apes be a shorter film if Charlton had GPS and Google Maps?

Inappropriate Tributes....
After the news that Joe Strummer is to have a plaza named after him.... how about images of inappropriate tributes to people... these could be buildings or statues etc that should never be seen !

The Tetris Effect
According to Wikipedia, the Tetris Effect means that "People who play Tetris for a prolonged amount of time may then find themselves thinking about ways different shapes in the real world can fit together, such as the boxes on a supermarket shelf or the buildings on a street."

So the challenge is... find/recreate games (Tetris or others) in non-game places.

(Alternatively, Tetris may make a nice one-word challenge)

Photoshop Jenga
Find a well known image and remove one element of it at a time until... well, until the knock on effect is amusing or interesting enough to post.

another Thunderbirds (topical peroast)
show us what TV and Movie work - or anything else - the Thunderbirds marionnettes moved onto when the series ended. Surely they didn't just retire rich to that lovely island, they'd be itching to do more work.

Tarantino-ise everything
Quentin Tarantino is famous for blood and guts, OOT violence etc. Take any other film, prgramme, song, advert, painting etc etc and re-do it as though the grand master of gore had been in charge.

Make computer games more PC.
People still blame shoot-em-ups for gun crime, and there was a semi-successful campaign to replace minesweeper's mines with flowers.

How should other games be updated to avoid offending people?

imagine how a currently living celebrity, or well known figure would, could or should die or be buried etc... either as a serious matter or as an object of ridicule.

Background gags
Often comedies put in background gags to reward the observant and people who re-watch stuff.

Show the in-jokes and gags that films and tv shows should have put in as part of the background detail but didn't.

Illustrate the most bizarre but true fact that you can find.
e.g. Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act it is explicitly illegal in Britain to use a machine gun to kill a hedgehog.

Low budget remakes.
With the constant remaking of classic films by Hollywood clashing with a worldwide financial crisis suggest ways of reducing film-makers' costs.
