Mein Gott!
This time last week I was mincing about in my sequinned Y-fronts.
Tonight it's snowing.
Isn't weather brilliant!

Why the hell have you been looking for a co-tenant then? That should be the Landlord's job unless you're responsible for sublease.
If you are you've got a shit landlord.
EDIT - check your tenancy agreement quickly. Are you allowed to sublease?

Be very careful then
You are the principal tenant and are therefore responsible for the actions of guests - long or short term.
If your incoming lodger isn't signed into the tenancy agreement you could cop for all sorts of stuff - although legally all that could be withheld is your bond.
I normally charge for this sort of stuff, you know....

Music is like history - you can't possibly encompass or like all of it.
No I don't block genres initially but there comes a point when the genre becomes inaccessible. Do you have the time to dip into it and scoop off the cream?

It's much easier nowadays
As there is so much information available and plenty you can listen to online. But I do still enjoy buying records blind, like wot we used to in the olden days, perhaps because I like the sleeve, or I've heard someone say it is good.
I'm a little obsessive and quite prepared to make the odd duff purchase now and then for the greater good of my collection.

I haven't got stoned in I dunno, three years.
I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. Mummy goes away for three days tomorrow and I still have loads left, I sense not much leaving the house and season upon season of Curb Your Enthusiasm getting watched.

I can remember making samples of a bubblegum-flavoured toothpaste for a contract customer back in t'day.
What really sticks in the mind about it was the harsh liquoricey solventy smell the flavour oil gave the room during the 24 hours after I'd filled and tubed off the paste.
