Alright, I'll start the day then.
I had such plans for today. I was going to study and get notes done, and read some chapters of my text books. What have I done instead? slept, had numerous cups of tea and moped about on the internet all day.

What are your plans for today, and how will they most likely be scuppered?

alt, blah blah, something about the antipodes.

oh that's right, it's a bank holiday for you guys isn't it?
that explains everything...
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 9:33, Reply)
for everyone except me
it appears.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 9:46, Reply)
you're at work then?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 9:50, Reply)
I'm always at work. Comes with the territory.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 9:56, Reply)
That sucks.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 9:59, Reply)
Don't become an academic then ;)

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:03, Reply)
Not planning on it.
only planning on doing honours, then a masters, then a PhD.

Oh.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:08, Reply)
I should be, but got to bed at 5.
Might do gym and afternoon sleeping instead...
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:03, Reply)
that sounds like a far more sensible use of time ..

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:04, Reply)
Yeah but my report won't write itself!

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:06, Reply)
I know the feeling.
I have a 50+ page report that I have to write up for a semester's worth of practical classes. I'm about only a third of the way through it.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:09, Reply)
It's so dull innit

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:13, Reply)
I'm planning on going to the pub, and that's about it really
However, this plan relies on my housemate paying me the money he owes me. Ah well, in a couple of days I get my betting money back, so it won't be an issue then.

After that, I'm selling my PS3 and my phone, should make £250+ for the two of them, I hope!

How are you?
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:03, Reply)
considering walking the streets in whorish clothes to obtain money so I can buy food and keep paying rent.
Feeling pretty poor at the moment.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:10, Reply)
That doesn't sound good

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:14, Reply)
yeah, its not really that great.
I mean aside from the fact I'm loving my course, if I didn't have stupid insurance bills and doctors bills and other bills hanging over my head, I'd be a lot better off.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:16, Reply)
Aye, I can imagine
Can your parents not help?
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:18, Reply)
nope.
Dad's on a pension and mum's a nurse. Not exactly the richest folks.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:19, Reply)
Ahh, not good, not good at all

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:19, Reply)
not really.
I'm sure I'll figure something out.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:20, Reply)
Cool cool

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:22, Reply)
I've just got in
Time for a shower and a change of clothing, and then back out again.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:15, Reply)
Filthy stop-out

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:17, Reply)
haha.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:17, Reply)
Ahh, hello Mr Pot, how are we?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:18, Reply)
Black as your wizened little heart!

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:21, Reply)
I think it's my liver that's black and wizened atm, haha

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:22, Reply)
Filthy...
I just said I'm about to have a shower.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:25, Reply)
Got home last night to find that my housemate had friends over who thought it was acceptable to
Go into my room and mess around with my stuff. He hasn't been home yet, im still furious.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:25, Reply)
Give him a slap Bob.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:26, Reply)
What really annoys me is that they were obviously in here for a while.
They ate a pizza my other housemate and I ordered before we went out. Played on my Xbox, took my swords off the wall and my lightsaber, sat on my bed knocked my Lego off the side which smashed, hid the tv remote, and brought clothes from my housemates room and bathroom and left them on the floor in my room.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:33, Reply)
Yeah, that's completely out of line.
I'd be fucking fuming.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:40, Reply)
You have lego next to your bed?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:40, Reply)
Oddly that's what I was thinking too.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:42, Reply)
I'm not suggesting that Bobby is just a gigantic man child
who fills his empty life by clinging desperately to his childhood by playing with his lego and having "really cool stuff" like swords on his wall.

Only, it's something to think about.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:46, Reply)
No, it's on my amplifier. I didn't add a comma that's all. What's your problem this time?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:05, Reply)
What surprises me more
Than your housemate cocking about with your stuff, is that a man with swords, lego, computer games and pizza actually left the house.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:50, Reply)
He refers to his "alone time in the toilet" as leaving the house

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:53, Reply)
By "house" do you mean, "mother's basement"?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:54, Reply)

basement room
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:55, Reply)
urgh. I don't want to know what he was doing in there...

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:56, Reply)

Grandad's officer swords and the lego is the millenium falcon. I'm a geek so what.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:55, Reply)
I'm not judging you.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:00, Reply)

Meh, whatever. I'm too angry to give a shit about the internet anyway. I'll let you know what happens when he gets back.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:04, Reply)
When are you expecting him back?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:07, Reply)

I think he might be in there, just heard his bed creak but I just hammered on his door and no answer. If he is in there he is doing himself no favours.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:10, Reply)
Is this the same one that keeps dropping out of courses?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:12, Reply)

yup
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:14, Reply)
Twat.
It's almost a shame he didn't cause any criminal damage. You could have had the filth on him.
Sounds like that boy needs a dose of real life. I'm guessing he's a spoiled mummy's boy.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:19, Reply)

Just a dumbass welsh povvo with no understanding of manners or courtesy. I'm going to break his fucking nose.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:22, Reply)
You're not though are you.
You're going to probably shout at him, but you won't actually punch him. You're just posturing on the internet. Which is kind of sad.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:10, Reply)

What's your problem Al?
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:18, Reply)
AIDS.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:40, Reply)
of the personality

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:09, Reply)

I have never encountered such a monumental cunt in my entire life as Al.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:25, Reply)
I like al.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:34, Reply)

Good for you man. I'm sure your experience of him has been very different to mine.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:36, Reply)
Probably. I've met him a few times as well.
He's very different irl.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:40, Reply)

I don't think that's an excuse to be a wanker to people you don't know on the internet. But that's just my opinion. Besides even if he was the nicest, most charming man I ever met my opinion of him is so low that it wouldn't matter anyway.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:42, Reply)
Each to their own, I guess.
I mean, there are some users of this board who like Rory, for instance. And he's never anything other than a twat to anyone and everyone.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 14:06, Reply)

Exactly, I completely agree with your point. Just a matter of perspective. From my perspective I think Rory is quite funny and as he is such a dick to everyone I find it amusing. My inference from Al's posts have been that he enjoys being personal and thrives on the attention and to me that makes him a gaping asshole.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 14:12, Reply)
I think everyone would be pleased to know that I think some people are alright and some people are bellends too.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 14:19, Reply)
He might have a bird with him.
Force your way in, you might see some stray tit. That'll keep you in wanks for months.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:13, Reply)

You're so considerate to be thinking of that, thanks mate. Nah he has never had a girl back, well not whilst I was here. I was in the states for a while.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:15, Reply)
Get his childhood teddybear, and one of your swords, and embed the sword through the bear into this bedroom door.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 14:21, Reply)
That's fucking disgraceful
I'd kick off too.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:26, Reply)
Today the plan is - there is no plan
Up earlyish to clear up after last night's mahoosive roast dinner then bimbled around on t'interweb drinking tea. The plan was to go out with the G/F and Emily somewhere but it's just started raining - quel surprise - so that's buggered that plan. On a lighter note, just heard from Pooflake so I may be drinking beer and playing guitar in some hostelry for the afternoon. All good.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 10:33, Reply)
Seeing as I'm a right lazy old bitch,
I am just up and out of the shower, and contemplating getting dressed. The plan then is to do some housework and some ebay listing. I may well squeeze in a bit of dicking about on the internet, watching tv, and playing with the dog.
You have no idea how exciting my life is...
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:10, Reply)
I think I would be happy with doing all that today, I'm pretty much doings the same, except replace the ebaying with coding... and the playing with dogs to just writing about them.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:14, Reply)
If you ever come to Weston you can play with my dog
By which I do not mean growler.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:17, Reply)
does he not growl then?

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:32, Reply)
I bet you could make it wink, if you tried really hard.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:50, Reply)
Trust me, at the moment, I think mine is about as exciting.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:20, Reply)
But yours is in a foreign country.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:21, Reply)
You're in the foreign country.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:23, Reply)
I wish.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:24, Reply)
Might finally work up the energy to shower and get dressed in a bit
then something to eat and a bit of shopping, I think. Rock and roll!
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 11:37, Reply)
How's the new flat?
I bet it doesn't have a Sainsbury's right downstairs.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:04, Reply)
It does not
There's a Tesco Express about 5 minutes away.

It's pretty good, actually. Not as nice as the Birmingham one but it'll certainly do for now.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:08, Reply)
Somehow I've just managed to rip off
A large part of my thumb nail. There is a surprising amount of blood.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:13, Reply)
There, there, etc.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:36, Reply)
i was going to muck about all dqy doing nothing but have been guilted into helping at the family business.
Which I hate more than my current job, but only because I hate being ordered around.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 12:38, Reply)
Plans already scuppered.
Our house was going to Pizza Hut for the all you can eat buffet. We all know it's disgusting but we've also been arguing for months who could stuff the most slices down their neck. Turns out they don't do buffets on bank holidays. Fuck Pizza Hut and everything they stand for.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:14, Reply)
They're DEAD to me now, baz. May they never darken my door again, and I theirs.

(, Mon 7 May 2012, 13:23, Reply)
I'm secretly relieved.
I'm trying to lose weight but there's absolutely no way I could back out of the challenge after how confident I've been about winning. Proper let off.
(, Mon 7 May 2012, 14:04, Reply)
I have done my shopping
Well, the important bits. Now I am sitting in a tiny bar/pizza place called Indo waiting for my pizza and drinking Budvar Dark, which is very pleasant.

The place is both rundown and ironically rundown in a retro hipster way, which is amusing the hell out of me.

Edit: Come to Indo on Whitechapel High Street, Baz!

I just bought a bass guitar to cheer myself up. Something to learn over the summer.
