Sunday morning, motherfuckers!
I watched the sun come up over the misty fields sipping on a cup of tea - rock and/or roll right there!
Plans for today? With Swipey and Frog being in the colonies I expect it to be quiet on here. I will be going to get some wood (fnaar), finishing off my workbench, putting some guitar hangers on the wall and generally being a busy little beaver.
What are you guys doing? Nursing yet another hangover and vowing never to drink again? Preparing for a family lunch where someone will overdo it on the Aldi bargain bin vino and get lairy? Or, like me, will you actually do something constructive?*

Alt: Works Xmas do's - are you in favour? Do you actually get to let your hair down or are you on your best behaviour?

*Actual levels of constructiveness may vary. Your scrotum may be at risk if you...zzzzzzzzzzzz

alt. Well, for the last one, the bosses took the "lads" to a strip club after we had our works meal en route to our private party and everyone was full of champagne and cocaine so all bets are off for our do this year.

Probably finish painting the new tables, sort out the shelves in the shed, watch the grand prix.
Nothing much. I'll be doing it all drunk.

At one of my
previous jobs Christmas do's, my manager mistook me not talking to anyone for shyness. She fixed this by marching me over to the only staff member I actually did know and playing matchmaker. I felt like a toddler.

You should try getting pissed and shagging.

I'm self employed
now, so any Christmas do shenanigans will just be me and 'handy' the secretary. I might even wear nail polish, dirty bitch was asking for it. Then I'll get pulled up in front of an industrial tribunal and be asked politely to resign while that evil cunt who led me on is still sitting pretty on the corporate ladder. I'll fucking show her!! I'll fucking show them all!!!

Imma be busy at your mum's beaver. If you know what I'm saying. It's a cunnilingus joke. About your mum.
I only go to work Christmas things to watch the drunks and the shaggers.
