I agree in principle but comparethemarket.comis about sorting through insurance comapnies to find the 'cheapest' quote albeit that all insurance companies are expensive, overpriced and extortionate. So I think your anger is directed at the wrong source.

ah butnot all insurance companies are on there (Direct Line/Aviva for example), plus comparethemarket get a cut from each company when someone uses them so you're actually not getting the best deal. You still have to shop around to be sure. So their service is fundamentally flawed and pointless.
