This reminds me of when the BFSS had a freepost address.After receiving a large number of housebricks, old car engines and the like, they stopped having a freepost address.

Yes, the former.Another anti-social tip, but less relevant these days:
Take a long piece of black paper or thin card the width of A4, feed into a fax machine and tape the ends together once it's in.
Dial the fax number of someone you don't like and watch as the black paper goes round and round, using all their expensive toner.
