I'm still technically quite new here.I was a long time lurker, only recently have I started posting in any real big way.
As a result, I never knew her, but it's genuinely touching to see how you guys have approached this today.
To see that you all cared so much about a person who many of you surely only knew on here.
I think that's one of the things that makes this place stand apart from the rest of the web.
Everybody seems to be very genuine and very human.
My thoughts are with her friends, family and b3tans.

^This^I am a relative newbie, so never met or knew her, but it's still a sad state of affairs and the show of affection has been very respectful. My condolences go out to all who knew her and her friends and family.

Just before bed I picked up an old philosophy book.I didn't open it, but and as I was walking upstairs, I remembered a quote from it.
I really didn't know Jessie, but what has happened is completely fucked. Now that I've seen some of the photos I realise just how young she was, and from what you lot have been saying it looks like the world's lost a genuine and vibrant soul.
I just wanted to say that you should be selfish. You should indulge yourselves in company of the people you love, because right now there is a man out there who must be the loneliest man in the world. That quote was 'fate is at your elbow' - you never know if the bastard upstairs will take them from you without warning or without the chance to tell them what you feel.
...and as far as FP's go, I agree that there should be at least one with a link to the news. This is no in-joke, this is a bunch of fuckwits showing that deep down they really care, and I think any visitor that would criticise b3ta for caring wouldn't quite fit in here anyway.
