As I mentioned yesterday, it might be prudent to wait a few days for Prof. and the respectrive familesto organise everything, then a discreet word to someone the prof. is in contact with from here to enquire if a charity has been nominated by the Prof. and Nina's family.

I think this is best.My bet is that prof or nina's family will set up a charity donation or something anyway, so we can all give to that in time. Right now, they're probably far too devastated to even think about this sort of thing.
