# This ^
Furthermore, it was a TV show that was nonsensical from the start. I haven't watched the finale yet, I don't expect to get any explanation of anything and I don't care because it's been largely entertaining nonetheless.

# Absolutely
In shocking news, people expecting a TV show to answer life's greatest mysteries were disappointed. Never saw that coming. :)

# I'm talking about the existential questions
that extend beyond, "What if people were made of spoons, flew space ships made of washing up bottles, and visited the moon (that was actually just a button)?"

I agree that frankly, once you've gone down that avenue, there isn't much left in the universe to address, but there are a couple of other Big Questions.

# I agree
The writers have said before if they starting explaining everything it would be like the Midi-chlorians all over again.
I liked the show because I liked the characters/actors and found it entertaining, I don't understand how people complain about wasting their lives watching it, if you didn't enjoy the show why keep watching it? Wait for it to end and look up the plot on wikipedia if all you cared about were answers.
