I had a minor racist thought the other day
I frequent a cafe staffed by lovely eastern-European ladies and their service is usually exemplary, however, the other morning I was pulled into work on a bank holiday (not good) and hungover (even less good). I ordered a black coffee and toast and marmite to go, trudged off to the office, plonked myself in front of my desk, took a long swig of coffee and bit into my toast. Which was full of marmalade. I'm ashamed to say my first reaction was something along the lines of 'What has the world come to? No English person would ever make that mistake! Bloody immigrants etc.'
Then I realised I was being a monumental arse and thankfully no-one was around to see it. Until I told the internet about it, anyway.
