Once again, I completely fail to see what point you're attempting to make against nuclear power here. Don't thermal power plant stations have waste?

You might have to be more specific about that.
The point with the picture is that eDF are a big power company with many nuclear and fossil fuel plants trying to pass themselves off as green by building putting a minisucle amount of their resources into renewable energy in order to claim government grants.

Christ knows why we're not using them. No fuel refinement, short-lived waste, masses more of the stuff than U-235.

Does the stuff just lie around in chunks? There has to be SOME refinement, surely.

Using examples like Chernobyl as a synonym for all that's wrong with nuclear fission is wrong and is a comparison made with absolutely no knowledge of the disaster at all. I know you didn't make that connection and I'm glad. The simple fact of the matter is that the deaths attributed to accidents within the nuclear power field is minimal in regard to the deaths and damage caused by coal, oil and gas burning plants.
Rant rant I'm going to make some ice brb.
