Brass Eye got banned though
just as it was getting good. But I suppose you're right especially given how cringeworthy Harry Endfield became at the end.

Well Chris pulled it then or someone pulled it.
either way it was an effectual ban.

Brass Eye was never banned
Michael Grade postponed showing the original series
and apparently edited various episodes (resulting in the "Grade is a Cunt" flashframe in the last one). But it was never banned/axed/pulled. I'm not aware of Morris even saying he wouldn't do any more, but he's never done anything for more than a couple of series.

There's really no need to get so pedantic about the details of it
after that infamous episode it stopped being shown for one reason or another I don't really care why only that I miss the sheer comedy of it and felt that the world was really fucked up because the Media takes itself so fucking seriously.

maybe - but if you're trying to humilate me with knowing the facts ok you won
I don't know the full story behind the ending of the series all I know is it ending with the shitstorm in the press and that annoyed me especially all the "Outraged of Tumbridge Wells" type comments so I don't know why you're persuing this as I've already stated as much.

I wasn't trying to do anything like that at all
merely following up on my statement that it wasn't banned. I certainly wasn't trying to humiliate you, I wasn't even trying to provoke a reaction and didn't expect a reply.
My last post was an attempt to light-heartedly draw a line under it. Clearly that failed.
