I was reading the timeline for the the events last night and found this most surreal:

They (the media) don't seem to give a toss about the poor bastard he shot dead.

Man killed - no major story.

Policeman injured - mobilise armed coppers from every force in the UK to catch him.

Tosser tops himself - BBC reports a "great sense of sadness".    Not from me.
