# I like this
Speaking as an astronomer and all, SETI is a total and utter waste of time and money, perhaps beaten only by sending men back to the Moon or Mars. There's aliens out there and we're never gonna fucking hear them, and we'll never meet them, and we'll die never seeing them. Tough shit, live with it.

Edit: This rant is aimed at SETI, not your image :)

# Exactly
and why do people always think that advanced aliens are going to be nice and friendly?
They only want to analy probe then eat us

# I've not heard too much about the eating
but they certainly seem very fond of anal probes. It's clear from the history of humanity that any intelligent race is going to end up in such a state of advanced sexual perversion that woes should betide any lesser race that comes into contact with them. They've clearly already buggered all the ape-equivalents on their own planets to death and left their sheeplike creatures on the verge of extinction.

# sorry
my brain just kind of faded out as soon as i saw the words "sexual perversion"....

# If they gave me a ride in their flying saucer
I, for one, would happily 'take one for the team'. If they can get here in defiance of every law of physics, their anal probes are probably very sleek and discreet.

I'd have to be firm about not getting et though.
