# I think it's all women in the film
I might be wrong, but I struggle to find the hidden message within the film if there is one other than gratuitous voyeurism of women being made to suffer in unimaginable ways.

It's not just this film films like Hotel and Saw annoy me too. I grew up with Halloween, Friday the 13th, I spit on your Grave etc. each film was good horror and fun to watch.

# its one man and two women
(the two women being american and the man being japanse)

not seen it yet myself, but, aside from the concept, what is actually shown is apparently rather tame.

# I might have misread it then
from the trailer that was on links I was very shocked and it's not like me to be shocked at anything really but this seemed a concept too far. Oh well I shall avoid it like the plague and hope it doesn't keep appearing on b3ta.

# funny that
my initial reaction was 'god almighty, that just looks rubbish' then i forgot all about it

i'm really taken aback that it's become such big thing

# Well I did think it was rubbish too
just I couldn't understand that someone had actually gone to the lengths of making it into a film.

# Agree
First came across it a few days ago in an article in the Guardian. Really unsettled me I think because of the concept and the fact there are probably nutters out there who would do this. I guess it's the ultimate nightmare of bodily mutilation and being made to live to suffer it.
