Yep, we're singing off the same hymn sheet.
"Offie" is short for "off-licence", ie premises that have a licence to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises.
These days we're so sophisticated, we also do tinnies. Actually, it's mostly tinnies. Well, it is for me, anyway.

I've always thought "liquor" sounds quite sophisticated. Compared to, say, "booze", or "haha me and my mates are going to get shit-faced!"
