I've always had a massive auto-hiding one on the leftbefore they invented tabbed browsing, this did the job of tabs. Now I have it and have to have tabs as well, because you're not allowed not to have tabs. Firefox doesn't expect to have lots of actual proper windows open these days and crashes (I think they're all massive numbers of threads, or browser instances, or something). My idea was better.
