I live in Hackney right near Victoria ParkThere's a great sense of community with lots of good pubs and restaurants. Indeed the largest Vietnamese community in London makes for fantastic food outlets.
Transport links are fine. I can be in Oxford Circus in 30 mins or Camden in 15 and at work in Greenwich in 40.
