There's a story in my family that one of my great aunts refused to talk to her sister for the best part of 40 years thanks to a dispute about who would inherit some coathangers.

I'm from the side of the family that didn't get them.
It's possible that the story may have been embellished over the years - but what's certain is that it was something incredibly trivial. It's not like there was a house or a ton of money involved: we're definitely in the "keepsake or article of minor utility" realm here.

My great Uncle died a couple of years ago and left everything (lots!) to his bullying cunty neighbour. Nothing to be done about it
