I'm told that they eat mosquitoes (these are also called may flies, right?)Anything that eats mosquitoes is good to have around. They're kind of cute, too.

No May flies are different., craneflies are often called 'Daddy long legs'Look up Dragon fly larvae, they kill mosquito larvae and just about anything they can get hold of.

Craneflies don't eat anything, they just breedor get fed to tube spiders. The larvae do the eating.
