# I found one of these

The adults can have up to a 3ft wingspan and make a bone-chilling scream as they swoop. Usually found in small groups of about 6 or 8.

# I'm told that they eat mosquitoes (these are also called may flies, right?)
Anything that eats mosquitoes is good to have around. They're kind of cute, too.

# No May flies are different., craneflies are often called 'Daddy long legs'
Look up Dragon fly larvae, they kill mosquito larvae and just about anything they can get hold of.

# Craneflies don't eat anything, they just breed
or get fed to tube spiders. The larvae do the eating.
