That was almost the tone, but it wasn't even that snooty.
It was more like: 'this is a celebration of all that is sonically foul and impossible to like. Not recommended for anyone. Really, it's unpleasant and we don't want people to spend good money without realising this'.
I was bloody well tempted, I must say, but I knew a couple of hours would've worn me down.

Despite the tone of the advertising,
they were pretty good events. Saw some good bands and films.
Rather gutted when a bomb warning meant it finished early one year and I missed ptv as a result.
