I did own a 1965 Triumph Herald 1200 in RAF blue. Needed a shed-load of work (new chassis was the main thing, but easy enough on a Triumph), but the engine was spotless and ran almost silently. I did a bit of work on it and was looking at learning to drive, but had to sell it when Imoved to Switzerland.
