# Apparently both have quite serious medical illnesses
She had to give up work, as did he to care for her then he got sick. Interesting to see what Private Health Care can do for them now then. :-)

Actually, my mum had a very similar treatment for a face cancer - she got injected with "something" that made her very light-sensitive and they burned it off (successfully) with a frickin' la-zer.

Hmmm... wonder if the "something" was vampire blood. She did develop a taste for steak tartare for a while after the treatment...
