# Pissed on Saturday evening, I was droning obnoxiously at Jolly Jack about how "taters is the most talented of the new breed," etc, etc.
I still think it's true, but haven't got the faintest idea what "the new breed" is.
Lovely pic, btw.

# you fraternise with JJ on a regular basis?
What animal do you dress as at these meets?

Cheers, but unlike JJ, i cant draw for shit. The computer draws for me :-D

# It was an accidental Dr When thing, organised at short notice. JJ just seems to turn up fairly often, and seems happy enough to just sit there drawing.
I've just bought JJ's tome, 510 pages for £23 (inc postage). I hope the print quality's good.

And I stand by everything I said above, btw :)

# Ah
Didnt know about it. How did it go? I had a jolly good time at that one Dr when bash i attended about 3-4 years ago.

# It was fucking great.
At one point they set off a great big fuck-off Chinese lantern, about 3ft tall, and it dithered about for a while before gaining a bit of height, and it bobbled over the trees out of sight.
After a minute or two, we spotted, through the trees, distant flames.
Panic ensued, with several people running to quell the blaze.
I was immobile, crippled with mirth.

# sounds like the ones we had at new year
one wouldn't light, one fell in a puddle and one wobbled across the grass for about 10 feet, before setting fire to itself.

# Yeah, the wobbling about was pretty compelling.
The hilarity, though, was by and large, a creation of the imagination.
