
My wife's sister came to visit when the kittins were very small, and brought them a toy, which was basically a plastic rod with a feather on a string.
They were absolutely terrified of it and ran away every time someone picked it up.
Then as soon as my sister-in-law left, the very same day, they dragged it out of the toy basket and played with it for hours. It was their favourite toy for months.

a bit of old harakeke is fine though.
for now he prefers toy mice / fluffy balls / dented ping pong balls / climbing the curtains
