perhaps you could outsource bits of the book to b3tardsthere would need to be some editing to weed out the CDC's and such stuff.
but it could mean that you only actually have to do a quarter of the actuall work.
also, if you're coming up with the ideas as well as the illustrations then a flat rate doesn't sit right with me.i want a royalty as well as contol over what other medium they might want to port the format into in the future.
