The Rapture is towards the end of a number of prophecied events some of which have not yet fully occuredsuch as Israel has to expand to its biblical boundaries (including the West Bank)....and the re-building of the Temple of Soloman on the site presently occupied by the Al-Aqsa Mosque

Personally I think the Israelis have already rebuilt the TempleThey built it out of sight underneath the Mosque and told the outside world that they were simply carrying out an archaelogical excavation
