i rather liked the filmsome horrible bits in it, it had Yamaoka's music in it, and was quite authentic for a video game film.

It still panged a bit of "Hmmm.... I don't think people will 'get it' unless...." bollockssuch as the gender-swap of the protagonist, and absolving the mother of blame...

indeed but that will never happen. SH2 was quite bleak, what with the main guy responsible for everything including killing his wife. Dont think hollywood would make something like that...
