One of the stupidest questions I've ever been asked was while I was working in the QC labs at a leather company. I was busy testing a batch of leather and we were chatting about cooking and stuff. One of the other lab techs, who was also busy testing some leather at this leather company we both worked for put down the bit of leather he was testing and asked, 'I wonder why you don't get skin on beef?'
