# morning Mr Ocre, I keep meaning to ask
did you invent the colour ochre?

I do enjoy its autumn shades and would therefore like to congratulate the author

Yes, it was during a particularly productive week that I invented the colours mauve, eggplant, ochre and lavenderblush.

Before that, eggplants were bright yellow and autumns were mainly gray and dark greens.

I was in the woods just this weekend. Not very ochre yet over here.

I've always felt however that the area between red, orange and purple is lacking somewhat, could you maybe work up some "thrush" or "angry boil"
