The other night mine got locked in a boot-reboot cyclenot even safe mode worked...after about an hour and a half I just switched it off, went and had a cup of tea while I called my mate who was after updates to his webpage, and then switched it back on again.
Then, of course, it worked a dream. Probably because I no longer had any urgent work to do on it
