What do you mean by 'intensity'? Saturation?

It doesn't help that my monitor is a bit rubbish.

# That combined with a bit of warming photo filter seems to have helped a little.

# I don't know the Photoshop equivalent of intensity, I'm using Corel Photopaint.
It kind of works like brightness and contrast combined, only different.

# There seems to be some feathering
going on around the morris dancer and the shadow doesn't help with the definition either.

I would adjust the levels ctl-l or curves ctrl-m on the morris dancer layer, which should help with blending..

That looks pretty cool.

I'm basically a bumbling amateur at photoshop. I learn little bits as I go along and find I need them. Half of the trouble is working out what it is I need to learn.
