I like the style of these.You should have a look at Damien Loeb's work. He does photorealistic paintings of scenes from films, (when he's not painting pictures of his wife in the nude).
Also, have a look at Will Cotton's work, also photorealistic, but mostly paintings of cakes and sweets with naked ladies. He was involved in that Katie Perry video where she had a cake bra on. You might get some ideas for backgrounds, or you can just ogle the cake ladies.

Cotton's stuff has to be seen to be believed, Swiss chalets made out of biscuits and icing. He actually builds them before he paints them as well. His studio must smell lovely.
