i'm not fond of radio that's talking, but i like listening to music on it. just like there are very few music videos i will watch as i find it distracts me from the music.

They set a whole load of the poetry and songs to music as part of the production, something which was sadly lacking from the movies, plus there's the incidentals. Musically, it sounds rather good. I think it was done mostly with a string quartet, but I could be wrong about that.
