because I suddenly live in the middle of nowhere, I have to cycle 5 miles to work.
I wouldn't normally be inclined to deliberately do much to stay fit, but I certainly feel loads better after 7 months of enforced exercise.

I don't even give a flying one about my mental wellbeing any more, cos I'm dosed up to the tits on antidepressants and it makes sod-all difference.

i understand how it feels when someone offers advice. all i can say is i've also been on anti depressants, and beyond. it has taken a long time, but i am now in a place where i think the worst of it is behind me.

btw, if the anti depressants aren't helping, they may not be the right ones for you.
