I don't have such strong feelings against christmas as a whole

but I think you'll agree that the world would be a happier place if supermarkets and shopping centres would stop playing annoying christmas songs sung by annoyingly high-pitched children all the time

I was once accosted by one of the useless plebs in PC World about this time of year...

He asked if he could help. I said "could you please turn that fucking awful music off?" He said, "no, sorry, can't do that". I left.

I do have a hankering to go wandering around Asda in a pair of ear defenders though, just to see if I get a reaction.
