One of my friends lucid dreams, he says it's one of the best experiences you can have.This, of course, is probably biased, but who knows.

In terms of feeling different, the most that's happened is that I felt like I sank through the bed, and through the floor.Not quite flying, as many people claim to be able to do in lucid dreams, but I guess it's a start.
