one time I realised I was in a dream when a horse started talking to me. I was like "wait a minute, horses don't talk!" and the horse was all "yeah they do," totally fucking rumbled though, it turned out it was a dream afterall.

She's sensitive about the size of her rear end. Pointing it out like that is just cruel.

and spent the whole time trying to get away with skiving off.
Actually I was two American guys because I switched characters half way through. The first guy got accused of skiving off but wasn't, in fact it was the second guy getting him into trouble.
Not one of my best dreams.

Americans have no idea what skiving is. Some kind of desert topping?

it consisted of my street being flooded, and I had to get home using a raft and a pole. A big red curtain occupied our then living room, in front of which an orchestra was playing. The musicians were in black tie and had frog heads.
But that wasn't the weird thing.
At a certain moment, a rabbit was sitting on a stool in the middle of the room, with my family members gathered around it in reverential awe. When I asked them what was so special, the rabbit addressed me and said something. I was so astonished that I lost the ability to speak, which would always wake me up.

Shame there was usually something trying to kill me, else they'd have been fun dreams.

Every hour, on the hour, push against a wall and ask yourself "Am I dreaming?".
Might take a while, but sooner or later you'll try it in the dreamworld - with very different results.

I stuck a sign on the door that I push (probably not often enough).
I dreamt of my hand pushing it, which then turned into a paw. Yeah... a bit weird.

I think I might have been very close to having a lucid dream, but lost my concentration before I could get any results.

Not quite flying, as many people claim to be able to do in lucid dreams, but I guess it's a start.
