they've sworn blind that that wasn't a problem and was intentional from the startbut other films due out around that time have had teasers and full trailers released already

Assuming the actting and script are excellent,the only other reason would possibly be post production CGI getting delayed?
(All the stills I've seen so far look like they were shot behind a car park somewhere, which lends weight to this theory.)
