Right well that first BASIC should have had quotes round it if it's a string literal shouldn't it?If it isn't, it's a type mismatch. And that semicolon in the middle of the print statement probably isn't legal, and even if it is and we assume the NAME$=BASIC assignment worked you'd just get GOOD MORNING UNIT NAME = BASICBASIC.
