There are some straight ones but they are paedophilesQueen of the Damned is shit, basically pages of pseudoscience and dry social theory wrapped around a crêpe-thin plot. The fourth book, in which Lestat becomes human, is quite good although I can't remember what it's called. Vampire Lestat was my favourite one, although I don't think I'll be reading any of them again.

I've read the first three in the pastI'm trying through them again. Vampire Lestat was my favourite, too, but at the minute I'm about three-quarters of the way through and I've suffered about 250 pages of whingeing gayly about Nicolas before wandering gayly around Europe and then gayly meeting the flamingly gay Magnus who he gets really gay with and it's getting really rather tiring.
