found it quite intuitive to use... pestered him into getting the touch version & it's a bit.. err touchy & maybe oversensitive.. only gripe is the pen forgets where you think you are quite a bit & bit of a lag to catch up/scrawls across the screen?
edit: & having done loads of stuff in PSElements (& it links straight into that) i haven't had to learn new toolkits etc.. freebase was done on 3 layers

I got mine for a song (never used) on evilBay for AU$71, still in all the factory wrappers. It sat on my table for three months because I was worried I'd not be able to master it, but after setting up and taking the bull by the horns, I had a go and holy SHIT, I've never looked back. I've never drawn so much in my ruddy life as what I have with this Bamboo.

got it after seeing David Hockney get to grips with an ipad... also after being on b3ta 9 months & neglecting my own things, think this will be the best of both worlds for a while, and *just maybe* i'll be a bit more productive again :))
