People impose human values, personality traits and emotions on a pet when it's alive.
Once dead, should it not be granted the same dignity that a human body would have? Or have the values of our society now changed regarding the treatment of earthly remains?
What I'm getting at is, can I start being more open with visitors when they ask about my lampshades?

I say lampshades, they're more like uplighters for the candles.
Hell, I need to catch the human tallow with something, or it'll ruin the carpet.

As I say, it's a cat. Human values don't mean shit to it. It ate, slept, licked itself and terrorised small garden creatures.
If a cat could understand the concepts of dignity, it could also understand that being a helicopter is frickin' cool.
