Have you seen his appearances in Young Justice?It's nominally aimed at the 14-16 age bracket, but some of the stuff is remarkably mature. Again in that they play up he kinds runs his own extra-territorial meth lab.

They basically had season one being teen drama with superpowersThen for season two when the execs weren't watching they spun the show on five years and put in more mature stuff.
