What sort of freak
sorts LEGO? Half the fun is digging about in a massive container trying to find the right bits for what you want to do.
I was also surprised recently to see how expensiv ethe stuff had got. This means that my mum gave away literally thousands of pounds-worth of LEGO to jumble sales while I was at Uni that I could now be giving to my kids.

Ouch.
Got the midi sized one for £23 in the January sales. Far more reasonable.

Ooof!
I'm sure it was cheaper than that when it first came out. Still stupidly expensive but in a 'I might be stupid enough to buy this while drunk if it's very soon after payday' rather than two grand. More like about £600 if I remember right.

pffft you only live once
although buying a lego kit for £350 isn't exactly living life on the edge!
