# yay for mugs on heads
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:08, archived)
# That's the one that's a bit dodgy because there's arses and stuff in, isn't it?
I can't even remember why I decided to stick a mug on this guy's head in the first place.

# too much coffee man?
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:57, archived)
# I think it might have been.
It was one of my days off, so I must have just sat at home working, and drinking coffee all day.

# what mug ?
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 19:03, archived)
# Wah hah hah hah! The camouflage works! IT IS FLAWLESS!

# Do you have change of 10p? Alright gimme two.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:12, archived)
# ok, you have to do the whole story now
:p
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:15, archived)
# I might have to. :D I'm already writing a story about the fox fella
which is special in the way that I only add to it when drunk or hungover. It's really weird.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:31, archived)
# it shall be a work of genius
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 19:55, archived)
# It may take a while before it resembles anything close to a plot, however.
It might even just be a non-linear series, with a new story every time.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 20:01, archived)
# ah fuck the plot
just concentrate on drawing shit exploding with dramatic "OH SHIT MAN, SHIT'S EXPLODING" eposition emitting dudes and also hot chicks fighting off robots with their magical/nano/nuclear technology swords
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 20:06, archived)
# I could always pull a Neon Genesis.
Hint at a plot somewhere, and fill in the gaps with robot fights and emo tantrums.

Hmm... probably not the last bit.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 20:12, archived)
# that way you'll always leave the dumb bitches guessing
then you can play "watch the fuckwits pick out obscure references to abstract french cinema circa 1947-1973 which aren't actually there"

and so forth.

It all adds to the inner hatred, so it's good.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 20:13, archived)
# As it stands, it's comprised of anecdotes I write when I'm out and about, and drunken/hungover ramblings.
So far, it's about the fox being kicked out of his flat by his flatmate after a drunken argument, and the process of getting back in.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 20:25, archived)
# it's sequential art with foxes :D
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 21:08, archived)
# In a sense, yeah. XD
I was gonna have this weird 'evil science lab in a bunker under the city' plot going, but it wasn't really in spirit with the rest of the story, which is more or less comprised of anecdotes. I'll have to work on making a sort of conclusion eventually.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 21:13, archived)
# no plot = 3 or 4 pane comic
:)
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 21:14, archived)
# I do things a bit more efficiently than SA; I only use 3 panels.
And by efficient, I mean "being a tight-arse and not doing more drawing".
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 21:26, archived)
# Nice to see you up and about after your helicopter incident last night.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:19, archived)
# If anything, the paramedics had a laugh.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:28, archived)
# Mugs of war ftw
every Thursday
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:33, archived)
# And at 5p, it's a steal!
Granted, 5p in 1974 was probably worth a lot more than it is now...

Our brave editors at Operation Bourbon Fox recommend you travel through time and buy a fuckload of back-issues.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:36, archived)
# 5p could get you crisps and a chocy bar in the tuck shop at school in those days
Never been into comics but did buy Shoot magazine which was an extortionate 8p in '74
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 18:48, archived)
# Now you'd be lucky to get anything below £2 for that.
The concept of 5p once being worth a lot is so alien to me. Then again, 50p was a lot back when I was a kid, now it buys sod-all.
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 19:00, archived)
# Ha 50p still is to me
I write to the Daily Fail if a cup of tea costs me more than a quid ;)
(, Sat 18 Aug 2012, 19:14, archived)
# Admittedly, I did have a shit-fit when Mars bars went from 50p to 60p.
And I wouldn't be surprised if the Heil blamed such a rise on... well, anything.
